According to the official notification, the revised minimum wages have been implemented across the state from April 1, 2026. The hike ranges between ₹1,000 and ₹3,000, depending on the category of workers.
The move is being seen as an interim measure, with the government expected to review and rationalize wage structures further in the coming months.
Decision Follows Noida Labour Unrest
The announcement comes shortly after protests by workers in Noida and Greater Noida over low wages and working conditions. The demonstrations escalated in some areas, prompting swift government intervention.

All Worker Categories to Benefit
